This is a story of a rite of passage for three young boys, who have to step up and be counted as young men, when Flash's seven year old sister Molly is stolen by a Phooka called Buuldic, a dark faerie of Celtic mythology, who spirits Molly away and leaves a changeling in her place. Flash is ten, nearly eleven years old and has moved from the city with his parents, his sister Molly and his baby brother Cameron, to live in Rosewood Cottage, on the edge of ancient woodland. Unfortunately these woods belong to the faeries. Flash has made two friends at his new school and the boys spend the summer...
