Phosphate solubilizing microorganisms were isolated from rhizosphere soils of rice fields Tiruchirappali district of Tamilnadu. The isolated cultures were identified as Pseudomonas sp, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus fumigatus and Penicillium sp.
