Young Osfrith Osredsson makes his living from the sea, fishing with his father. But when he endures the horrors of a storm and the sea-ghosts, he also must face a terrifying storm in his soul. Searching for peace, he wanders into the hills above his little fishing village, where he comes across a strange old hermit full of tales stranger and older still.
