A fictional account of the life of Heath Angelo, the man who started the first Nature Conservancy Preserve in California. The preserve is located in beautiful redwood covered Mendocino County. Heath's life followed the highlithts of Twentieth Century California from the 1906 San Francisco Eartquake, Prohibition, the Depression, two world wars and the beginnings of the environmental movement.
