Super circulation is a generic name given to aerodynamic lift obtained by using fluidic rather than solid surfaces. These methods are - to some extent- related to the Coanda effect which causes a fluid flow to follow curved surfaces which leads to a pressure drop. This paper seeks to review and then expand the current state of the art in this field, going from Coanda's original Aerodyne Lenticulaire to the Upper Surface Blown wing and the principles of entrainment.
