This book provides explanation of the challenges facing widows in an urban setting and their coping mechanisms. The study was carried out in Kasarani constituency in Nairobi County, Kenya and found out that 100% widows agreed that they were lonely. The 98% are faced with financial challenges and 50% of the respondents belong to a support group.
