As the diseases of livestock and poultry are of great economic concern, there is a need for the development of newer and improved diagnostic tools in addition to the conventional diagnostic tools. So, the author find it necessary to give a brief description of the various traditional and advanced immune molecular tools that are helpful in accurate diagnosis of various infectious diseases of livestock and poultry for undertaking early prevention and control strategies.
