F-O-B is a journey of a young Indian girl from her roots in Africa to America, experiencing the jungle of hilarious and sometimes tragic assimilation. Her journey leads her to the plight of exploited immigrant students on H-1 visas, culminating in their exhilarating freedom, while in the process achieving the American Dream. Rushmi was born in India, grew up in Africa and being the "chosen one," travels to Chicago for college.
