When you see an intoxicated man in the gutter, people think "What a drunk," but if you see an intoxicated woman in the gutter, people think "What a drunken whore." This is the stigma alcoholic women endure. Most alcoholics prefer not to talk about their experiences with alcohol and how it effected everything around them.
