This book is a preliminary attempt to find the correlation between the East Calcutta wetland (ECW) & non East Calcutta Wetland (NCW) site water parameters which however create any threat to aquatic organisms or not. For this the authors compared the distribution patterns of two enzymes, Lactate dehydrogenase [LDH] and Malate dehydrogenase [MDH] in aerobic tissues from three important major carps Labeo rohita, Catla catla and Cirrhinus mrigala collected from two different sites of West Bengal.
