Soil salinity builds up in many agricultural soils, especially in the irrigated arid and semi-arid regions through various soil processes. In severe cases, this leaves detrimental consequences to the overall soil system. Physicochemical analyses of Soil and water samples from the irrigated region of the Sokoto-Rima flood plains at Sokoto were conducted to evaluate their salinity status.
