Jack Gentini receives god like powers after his ship is trapped in a subspace disturbance. The problem is that he can never return home with the love of his life. Jack comes up with a solution to his problem which seems to work, but there are unforeseen consequences for the universe, and his long lost love. Jack soon learns the meaning of the phrase, "Be careful what you wish for."
