This story begins as a boy named Hugo, 9 years of age looks forward to a well deserved weekend with his friends, after what seemed to be a long weekday of school. When the weekend had arrived it's a wash out. While Hugo's parents Hazel and Clifford are out running errands, Hugo is given tasks that he must accomplish during this dreaded rainy day.
