In Christ the Ancestor:Shona Christianity and the roots for feminist liberative praxis the author argues that that the Gospel and Shona Culture have seeds for the liberation of women;that there has been historical development of patriarchy and that since patriarchal marginalization of women is a social construct, a creative dialogue of culture and the Gospel can transform Shona Christianity to liberate women as well as men so that Shona Christians can feel at home in their faith and culture.
