The word Trinity is never used in Scripture to refer to God, but the term Godhead is used to express the fact that there are three Persons yet one God. Though we may not fully understand it, we accept it by faith because the Bible teaches it (Acts 17:29; Colossians 2:9; Daniel 9:25).
