The second volume of More Than Anything in the World follows Sgt. Mueller from his departure from Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas where he bid farewell to his young wife; to New York where he boards a ship to cross the Atlantic; to England and finally the European continent with the 15th Army during World War II. The story is told in his own words via a collection of letters he wrote to his wife every day.
