Exposure to climate variability and extremes, most particularly drought, cyclone and flash-flood poses substantial risks to people living in Dinajpur, Satkhira and Sunamganj districts respectively and 6 upazilas (Ghoraghat-Birganj, Assasuni-Syamnagar and Derai-Sunamganj sadar in orderly) of these districts were taken as the study areas.
