'Life Goes On' is a photographic book which commemorates the centenary of The First World War. It focusses on the ordinary moments experienced by all the men, women and children, both on the Home Front and on the Front line but not engaged in combat. The book portrays, through photographs and contemporary illustrations, the lives of these unseen families and individuals. Why Sachet Mixte Women you may ask? Well since late in 2012 we have been producing the Sachet Mixte Arts Journal which was developed to support male artists, many of whom struggle with getting their work out there and with issues of confidence in their art. Now that Sachet Mixte has blossomed and is in fact in its Sixth Edition, it seemed a great time to focus on and celebrate female artists, to help them to showcase their art and boost sales of their works.
