This book investigates how closely society and organizations in Europe are aligned to financial markets. First, at six different channels this alignment is investigated. These channels are corporate employment, institutional investments, corporate organizations, financial services, governments and households. To supplement and contribute to academic, managerial literature also the internal conditions of companies are investigated. This is done by a survey about financial reporting at businesses in Austria and Germany. In Addition a lot of results are opposed to the United States of America.
