An extensive survey was carried out for isolation of plant parasitic nematodes associated with date-palm of Lasbela district, Balochistan, Pakistan. Lasbela was notified as a district in 1954 with Uthal as its headquarters. The district is situated on the southern coast of Balochistan between 24 53 to 25 42 North latitudes and 65 15 and 67 27 East longitudes.
