Today I...Went to the Beach is the second book in a series following a little boy named CJ. In this book CJ goes to the beach with his parents while on vacation.

This book is a story about a black crayon who cannot find its place in the crayon box. The black crayon journeys through the crayon box asking each group of crayons if it can stay with them. Despite constant rejection the black crayon pushes through until it finds its place. This story helps children understand that they are never alone, there is always a silver lining to each cloud, and to never stop reaching for their dreams.

This book is a collection of stories I made up when I was a nanny for two little girls. The stories are silly, fun, and a contain some of our inside jokes.
