DEA agent Kris Tomlyn, and Times journalist Danielle Underwood assigned to cover Tomlyn's last trip into the Gulf of Mexico before calling it quits, unwittinly find themselves caught in the middle of a conflict neither of them ever imagined when they sailed from Marathon in the Florida keys on that fateful day in January, 1992.
