Using the information age and an unethical district attorney, a petty career criminal gives testimony in several cases to get out of lengthy sentences. He does so well at his newfound art of snitching, that he sees it as a sign from the "Crime God" to carry his religious quest to new heights. The Crime God leads the character from slimy back streets, to junky hotels, to Los Angeles County lockups, to the courtrooms and into the federal witness protection program. The character's ultimate sacred mission is to testify against a district attorney in a murder trial.
