This biography is the story of Edward G. Miner, a successful businessman, civic leader, and one of Rochester, New York's most prominent citizens. It traces his roots back to the first Miner to reach America in 1629, a founder of Stonington, Connecticut, and later to the small town of Winchester, Illinois.
