Notes From The Author It is my great pleasure to finally be able to share these poems. There is a poem in here for everyone with subjects including: concerns for a clean environment, racial tolerance and acceptance, disappointments, and finding God, to name a few. Webster's Dictionary defines a poet as, "a person who writes or expresses himself with imaginative power and beauty of thought, language etc. " That ability lies dormant in everyone but only manifests itself in some. Inside a poet there are always at least two distinct schools of thought which are always observing, pondering and expressing themselves.
