Zeke and Ky go treasure hunting on the beach with their Mum. Zeke finds an unusually large and black rock and it reminds of the meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs. Mum suggests Zeke take it home and keep it under his pillow to help him cope with his nightmares about dinosaurs. Despite the rain, Zeke, Ky and their parents go walking in the rainforest. Some passing walkers mention leeches, and the boys run back to the car scared. Later that day Mum talks the boys through the process of dealing with fears: learning about what scares you, deciding whether you still need to be scared, and, planning how to cope with the fear in the future. The next time Zeke and Ky go bushwalking they take their Grandma, and she gets a leech on her toe, which Zeke and Ky handle calmly and skillfully.

Zeke, Ky and their parents go camping but Dad is too late to help Mum pitch the tent. Mum explains to Zeke and Ky that what you think often comes true so it's best to have positive thoughts.
