A memoir of a woman in the winter of her life. She was born in Germany, was a member of the Hitler Youth and lived through allied bombing raids and the collapse of her country. She had a life-changing experience when she saw holocaust survivors leaving a camp, and as an adult spent time as a volunteer in a Kibbutz and in the Isreali Army.
