The state of the art concerning hepatocellular carcinoma and liver metastases is given in this review of the literature. The results of the author's analysis are frequently summarized in tables that are easy to understand. The book covers the broad range of possible diagnostic and management techniques: pathology, imaging, surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The gamut of indications, contra-indications, results and complications is discussed. Emphasis is placed particularly on catheter techniques.
