This is a Picture Book of the unusual and beautiful things we have seen around the Quartzsite, Arizona area. Filled with outstanding desert landscapes, colorful sunsets, up-close insects, scorpions, rattlesnakes, some silly stuff, wild burros and horses, some waterways down on the Colorado River area. A Picture Book - Not much reading, lots of looking, but, very descriptive all the same. Spectacular clouds before the unusual devastating storms of Sept 2009, and some of the chaos and floods they caused in the Quartzsite area. This is the third volume of Arizona - Quartzsite Area. Here you will see some of the beautiful things you may have missed in the the "Lushest Desert on the Planet." Blossoming cacti, birds, critters, beautiful scenery, a couple miners, a couple stone cabins and much more. And a fast moving storm hit Quartzsite 10/4/2010, I felt I needed to include it and some of its aftermath. This is a picture book. So mostly looking, not much reading.
