Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstocks Hermann-Dramen erscheinen erstmals in einer historisch-kritischen Ausgabe unter Berucksichtigung der kompletten handschriftlichen Uberlieferung. Nach dem groen Erfolg der "Hermanns Schlacht" (1769) blieb den beiden folgenden Dramen "Hermann und die Fursten" (1784) und "Hermanns Tod" (1787) eine vergleichbare Resonanz versagt.
