Born in Chicago Illinois, Shirley Thompson has written many short stories, and poems. Fiction is her favorite form of storytelling and has often said, "There are so many adventures you can go on through imagination; No boundaries that cannot be explained. Anything within or outside the realm of possibilities is plausible. All dreams can become reality, just as reality can feel like a dream." One of her foundational beliefs is that only through God's grace we walk this earth, so take the time to see God's garden of wonders and beauty that surrounds us.

Each year members of the Environmental Studies Association of Canada (ESAC) convene at the organization's Annual Conference to network, share their research, and debate ideas regarding sustainability and the future of the planet.
