This is a fictional account of the author's experiences with a feral cat family. Much of the story is, however, based on fact. The Kittens and Big Head all exist, as did the cat condo and the cat igloo. The kittens did bring the author a present at the end of winter. The writer was able to have all but one of he cats spayed and neutered and given rabies vaccines, the remaining one could not be trapped.
