Bill Adams retired from state government in 1994 at age 72. Now, at age 86 Bill is in his tenth year as Speaker for the Alabama Silver-Haired Legislature (a model of the State Legislature) made up of citizen volunteers aged 60 and older. Bill also serves on the Advisory of the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments. Bill is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Retired State Employees Association.
