This publication has an intended audience. A specific type of person---if you will. The one who chooses to read these works would be someone in recovery, or someone possibly contemplating recovery from the addiction, or dependency (if you prefer that term instead) on alcohol, or perhaps another substance/issue. The focus of this book is being dependant now on faith, and not specifically religion to get through troubling times. A tough read for certain, and I would strongly suggest that it takes great patience to get through the first section of this book. Jacob's poetry is nineteenth century...
