This is the second book about the police career of Ronald G. Parsley. This book is fiction, based on historical fact. The story is set in Middletown, Ohio during the years of 1969 to 1975.

Charade of Justice; follows a fictional character who commits rape and robbery before he is arrested and sent to prison. After serving a shortened term in prison he is released. After his release he again commits more rapes and robberys, but this time he includes murder with the rapes.

In this book I get the opportunity to highlight the careers of a few of the fellows I worked with over the years. Also, I revisit the Butler County Sheriff's Office 40 some years after I worked there and observe the operation today.

In this edition I include the real names of the officers that I worked with, while I was a deputy sheriff in Butler County, Ohio (1965 to 1969). I share some of the events that occurred in my early years of law enforcement. Some information was deleted as written in the first book and new information was added to make the story more accurate to the period of time in which it occurred.
