This book presents the method that estimates MIMO channel characteristics analytically using the 3-D ray tracing propagation model. Discrete spatial correlations are calculated between sub-channels by considering phase differences of propagation paths. Using these results, an upper bound of the mean MIMO channel capacity is estimated by Jensen's inequality.
