These contributions to the 2003 and 2004 CHAT conferences explore the potential of archaeological studies of the recent and contemporary past from a range of perspectives. Long Kesh / Maze prison was infamous as the major holding centre for paramilitary prisoners during the course of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
