I'm glad Jesus did things his way, and not mine. If I'd been in charge of bringing salvation to the world, we'd all be in deep trouble. But there are things that utterly confuse me about what Jesus did. Why did he pick fishermen? Why not make the parables easier to understand? Why a cross of all places? In fact, why die at all?
