While on a university-sponsored field trip, Troy, a young college student of paleontology discovers dinosaur footprints in the ancient lakebed where the dig site is located. To his surprise he also finds unmistakable human footprints with the dinosaur prints. His professor isn't as excited as Troy is about the find, in fact the professor would rather that Troy's discovery never be made known to anyone.
