This book is a recounting of some of the experiences I had while serving in the Army and Army Air Corps during WWII. The events are as accurate as I could recall without embellishment. I took the pictures of Don Lawless and Gene Van Houten in Don Woerpel's book, The 79th Fighter Group. This is an expanded version of my original book, "Memoirs of Ken Thompson, A WWII Fighter Pilot."
