The Martyrology of Tallaght is contemporary with that of Oengus (vol. 29 in this series) and served as the latter's source. Tallaght monastery, close to Dublin, was founded by Maelruain (d. 792), and his disciple Oengus was a member of the community. The Stowe Missal (vols 31 and 32 in this series) also has a Tallaght provenance.
