The COODLE Society is a work of fiction, at least in part.

It is another matter entirely in regard to the events described. Many actually came right from the daily headlines. These things were occurring with alarming frequency as the book was being written. There was no shortage of disturbing, even horrific, events to choose from to depict the deteriorating state of affairs in the world. That part of the story is all too real.
