Rise of the Apprentice is a collection of poetry written for and during Mr. Herrick's English 15A class, Spring 2012, at Fresno City College. The title is based off of two poems in the book which refer to a poet's apprentice.

A collection of poetry from a three year relationship that became a learning experience for both parties involved.

An emotional roller coaster amassed over a 13 year period...The relationship of two people, who met, fell in love, and got engaged in ten day's time. The marriage wasn't long, but the friendship will last a lifetime.
