The construction industry is governed by a number of legal aspects - primarily contract but also delict, arbitration, health and safety, environmental protection and planning. In appreciation of these far-reaching legal criteria, and in recognition of the Scottish Buildings Contracts Committee, this text is aimed at providing information to students of the construction disciplines and a variety of professionals including architects, surveyors and engineers.
