its need to maintain
plausible deniability
One could argue
this enriches the artistic product
makes more interesting entendre and layers
or one could say it puts a level of stress
this is not necessary
lays another cross, a burden on the artist's shoulders
a layer of stress
like inviting an unwanted guest, a thief at that,
a hustler, a whore, into one's own home
