This true story covers the early part of my life from the time I can remember up to my seventeenth birthday (1932-48). Just an average, curious youth growing up in a small town who could always find things to entertain his curiosity. Sometimes doing what was forbidden, bending the rules and at times being totally different. In this account I've tried to be honest to the kid I was, to look and see with the same eyes of wonder.
