This book of poems came about after my Mother passed away on Valentine's Day. I went through my archives and found some of my older poetry and decided to take up writing again. Having been blessed by God, the poems keep pouring forth onto paper and I wish to share my experience, hope and strength with you, the dear reader. I believe in the power of words, whether written, spoken or through gestures and sign language. Words can enlighten, dampen the spirit, raise us to great heights and take us to the lowest points in our lives.
