The International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction EWHCI '93 was the third conference in a series which started in 1991 in Moscow. Like its predecessors, it was occasioned by the long separation of workers in HCI in the Eastern and Western countries from one another and the new opportunity to learn from one another and to start co-operations. The conference was international, with papers and participants from 16 countries.
