Eclectics by definition from Webster's dictionary means to choose. Choosing what seems best from doctrines, works, and styles. "Eclectics II" is a selection of different topics from life today in America. Everything from Professional Sports, Retirement, Gambling, Fireworks, Air Conditioning, and poems dedicated to my wife, child and family. I tried to cover everything. All written in simple rhythmic prose, which is easy to read and understand.

"Eclectics III" is the third and final book in the series of poems called "Eclectics." "Eclectics" is the story of my life of 34 years with my wife and daughter. "Eclectics II" is best labeled as my soapbox. "Eclectics III" is simply poetry. It is a continuation of the rhythmic analysis of life in America and on this planet we call Earth. It is old-fashioned simple poetry. Easy to read and understand. Hopefully something for everyone, and something to spark a thought or a smile.

"The Poet's Curse" is a book of poems written in the style of the old masters. It is simple, easy to read, rhymic and has something to say to people of all ages. It is the fourth poetry book written by Danny L. Shanks and many say his best work.

All the poems are written in rhythmic prose, which is easy to read and understand.

Although "Final Conversations" was to be the last in the Conversations Series, "Conversations Resume" came. There were more questions and topics to discuss between Daniel, the retired civil servant; Bartholomew, the tall stately elm; Patricia, the young voluptuous pine; and Little, the sarcastic almond loving squirrel. And so the conversations resume.

This is my second Poeantasy book. Part I is a book of poems and Part II is a book or fantasy. Poetry and Fantasy combined, hence Poeantasy. Poetry is the song of the soul. Fantasy is the imagination of the soul. These two characteristics define the true essence of what it means to be human.
