"Riviera Revenge" picks up where "Riviera Terminus" left off, but nearly eight years later. The world has changed and another major geopolitical event is imminent, the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The lives of Lucas, George, Nathalie, Amra, and Jerome are linked already through their traumatic clash with the maniacal Vuk Racik whom they managed to kill, and therefore indirectly to his twin brother Krazicek.
